You will be blessed.
“I will bless you, you will be a blessing, I will bless those who bless you, all the people of the earth will be blessed through you.” Genesis 12: 2, 3
The Lord told Father Abraham that he would be followed in his inheritance to the world. He would father many nations and a blessing would be poured down among his children. This blessing would be for all nations, the believers who have faith in Christ. From all nationalities, colors and backgrounds, the human race would come together in worship of our Savior Jesus Christ.
As the Jews were led to faith through the Apostles and Jesus himself, God would justify the Gentiles by faith as well. The nations would continue to be blessed.
Jesus is our hope and the light of the world. Without him we would be lost. We are held together by him, and he creates in us a joy to share despite life circumstances.
1 Peter 2:9-10 NIV
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
We should pray that this hope is never fleeting. We need to hold on to the truth and promises that the Lord has bestowed upon us. Pray that this becomes a stronghold in good times and in bad, across all ages.
As we simmer on these truths, may we hide them deep in our hearts.
