Secrets. We all have them.

Deep dark crevices of our minds hold on to the things we wish not to be revealed. Joyful frontal thoughts are almost bursting in excitement for happy future moments to be shared. Darkness or light hide inside these little things, and we process through to try to see what can be dismantled and tossed to the wind, and what we want to keep on to give to others.
Matthew 10:26-28 ESV So have no fear of them, for nothing is covered that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. What I tell you in the dark, say in the light, and what you hear whispered, proclaim on the housetops. And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
This is how we should live life. We should walk in such a way that we need not hide our internal affairs.
We are all sinners. No one is perfect nor is anyone good. The only man who demonstrated these attributes was killed on a tree. He was a final sacrifice for those of us who hide our inner thought lives and our questionable actions in the closet. A savior was placed on a leafless branch. A thieves death, He died when we were the ones who were letting our souls be stolen by the lies of the darkness.
When we allow ourselves to push back all of the doubt and deceit, and grab on to the loving truth, we no longer need to keep to a secret place. We can live out loud and fully in the light. We no longer need to sneak around with twisted truths stuck in our mouths, or cover up deeds of selfish ambition. Our bodies, and mouths should reflect the Christian life, and the Spirit is there to propel us in a forward motion.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
Not only has Christ covered all of our sins, but He is also THE Light and sheds light in the dark places. I love that image of Him.
So very true!! The only secret place I want is being hidden in Christ! ❤
So true, often bringing our secrets into the light destroys their power. It is encouraging that God knows us exactly as we are and we don’t have to hide from him. Visiting from FMF.
