January 22nd is the National Sanctity of Human Life Day. The one day that we can truly reflect upon the innocence of the pre-born falls on a day that is celebrated by harbingers of death via the passing of Roe v Wade in 1973.

As of this very moment, there has been almost 63,000,000 abortions since the passing of this legislation. Sixty-three-million pre-born citizens, gone…

I can throw out statistics, facts, science, lobbyist-ideas and works, how pro-life advocates help pregnant mothers and mothers of living children alike, and all the little and big things in between. Instead I would like to focus on quotes and Scripture that point out simple truths about what has become a complicated political issue.

As we prepare to share the following graphics with our loved ones and to celebrate life, I would like to briefly share my story.

At 23 weeks gestation, my water broke. At this point I was already “failing” my blood tests and a collection of observations that the doctors were making were not very positive. Now they had their excuses to push their agenda of death. I was told by the NICU doctor to abort. Terminate. She will never live. She will be brain dead. Your marriage will fall a part. You will be depressed. Terminate.

“But, Doctor, I feel her moving.”

Terminate.

I told him to never return.

At 39 weeks we birthed a beautiful baby girl: healthy, wiggly, pink, and scoring an almost perfect apgar score. Not dead, alive. Not failing, thriving.

She turned 18 last week. She is fearfully and wonderfully made and planning for the future. An honor student, volunteer, and pro-life activist, our girl proved the Culture of Death wrong.

Please save the following quotes and share with your loved ones and friends. Share the Culture of Life and strive to strengthen the importance of its sanctity.

Saying that there are too many children is like saying there are too many flowers.

-Mother Teresa

Fewer women would have abortions if wombs had windows.

-Dr. Bernard Nathanson, former abortionist turned Pro-Life

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

Psalm 139:13

A person is a person, no matter how small.

-Dr. Seuss

No law can give me the right to do what is wrong.

-President Abraham Lincoln

Abortion and racism are both symptoms of a fundamental human error. The error is thinking that when someone stands in the way of our wants we can justify getting that person out of our lives. Abortion and racism stem from the same poisonous root, selfishness

-Alveda King

Please be in prayer for the mothers and fathers facing unplanned pregnancies. Please be in prayer for the pre-born citizens of our world and that they are held close to the hearts of their mothers and fathers. Please be in prayer for those who serve these families, who are willing to adopt, for the sidewalk advocates and prayer warriors, for the activists, the lobbyists, priests, pastors, and loved ones who should so boldly help and stand for life from the womb to the tomb. And most of all, pray for the law makers to be on their knees seeking the Lord’s guidance to choose life in their politics.

  1. PRAISE GOD for your choice and your daughter’s life! Now we get to see how the LORD will use her to further His kingdom because her mama and daddy chose life. I read this to my husband. We’ve miscarried twice, one being a set of twins. We have two boys 9 and 7 now and my youngest beat childhood cancer as a newborn. I cannot imagine life without them, and I can’t imagine saying those who already are wrapped up in our Savior’s arms weren’t worth fighting for. I love this post and am so grateful you shared your story. Thank you!
