Grace is offered.
It was paid for with a high price that never depreciates in value. Inflation doesn’t exist with this free gift and there are many perks. Freedom, liberty, and peace are some things to tag on to grace.
Grace moves us forward to conquer fears, failures, and doubts. Grace forgives, forgets and creates newness.
The gift never fails and is always welcomed. There is never a need to give something in return.
There is a but in this sentiment. Often times for us to truly grasp the magnitude of grace, humility precedes.
Humble yourself before the Lord, and He will lift you.
James 4:10 NIV
All of our doubts, all of our failings and sins, and all of our worries, we can place them at the foot of the cross in humility.
We are reminded that this is a daily task at times in a sinners life for we are all in need of a savior. We all fall short (Romans 3:23)
We may be able to approach the throne of God boldly in prayer, but we must lay down our struggles before the grace of the cross and stand with an expectant heart. Humility will empty all of the ugliness out and admit our need for Jesus.
He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God
Micah 6:8
