My 2019 reading list is not as full as I would like it to be.
I haven’t even set my GoodReads goal for the year at this point.
I am in a transition period this year with small happenings and big events waiting just around the corner for myself and my family.
As I look for spiritual growth, discipleship opportunities and simple quiet time, I am just going to allow the Lord to guide me in my readings and be open to suggestions from my community of like-minded believers.
I am excited to share with you what I have started reading, a great discipleship project that’s coming up and what I have waiting in the wings that’s already on my bookshelf.
Please feel free to comment with what you are reading this season. I am always looking for really good books on missions, spiritual growth, prayer, discipleship and apologetics.
I hope that you find something to read from my list and I hope to glean some good information from yours.

What I am reading right now:
I am reading through the books of Ephesians and James in order to prepare myself for an upcoming short-term missions trip. You can read about my trip here. The resources that I am using in my study include the following books and guided prayer through the YouVersion Bible app.
Devotionals:
History of Religious Freedom and Civics:
I am reading both of these books with my high school daughter for her civics class.

Tween and Teen Studies:
Bible Study:
Both of these studies are on the book of Genesis. The promised one relates to seeing Jesus in the book of Genesis.
I am looking forward to these books and for further study of Scripture. You can find my favorite books of 2018 at this link.
