With Christmas shopping at our heels, it’s time to start compiling that wish list.
I often struggle to come up with some things to hand to my husband and children. I would like to think that they know me well enough to be creative on their own. With all best intentions, they get about halfway there. I love the creative minds of my children and the love that my family pours into gift giving. They just sometimes like to know if I am longing for that one special item that I haven’t made known to them. I very much appreciate this sentiment.
Here I would like to share with you a few of my favorite things that are on my wish list, or that have been gifted to me over this year that I have truly enjoyed.

These are my favorite journaling pens. They don’t bleed through most paper and you can use them to color in the fine lines in your intricate coloring books.
Some heavier reading, but a great addition to your home library. Martin Luther: The Man Who Rediscovered God and Changed the World by Eric Metaxas.
Anything by Erik Larson is pretty awesome, but this Chicago native really appreciates this historical take on H. H. Holmes and the Chicago Worlds’ Fair. Devil in the White City.
I always enjoy a good and straight-forward Bible study. John MacArthur does just that in his study of Romans.
